The location is amazing, I wish the check in was more obvious. You check in at a different area right at the front. We walked all the way to the hotel ane had to turn around in busy crowds. There is no air conditioning, but they provide a fan. The breakfast was wonderful and it was nice to be able to be in the town when the crowds aren't there.
It was amazing to stay inside the Monde St. Michael.
The rooms were ofcourse small, but they were clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was very good, with many different options.

Check in was at a different place. We were told this but only after booking and paying.
Breakfast was at another different place which we ere only told out during check in.
at 7am all of the barrels and bottles for the island were loaded and unloaded out side our window it was about 1 hour of continuous clashing and banging, no very relaxing
I wouldn't call this a good hotel experience

Tidy room in an older building. Clean. Comfortable beds. The only not downside is three flights of steep often quite narrow stairs to get to our room. If you stay here travel light.
Very disappointing hotel room. It was not in he main location the Joan of Arc room was down the street and under and arch way and through a door to a small unattractive room. I can't say one good thing about the room but we were so tired it had to do. Next time I'll spend more to stay at a nicer place. It's magical staying on the Mont overnight but this room was a big disappointment. I have stayed on the amount before in the same hotel group which I remember being adequate. This was not.
Staying the night on Mont Saint-Michel was nothing short of magical and I highly recommend it. The Mouton Blanc was wonderful and its included breakfast was delicious and fueled us the next morning so we could climb up to the abbey : )
Firstly, you check in down the very busy street with 2 very rude front desk staff, our room wasn’t ready so we had to wait around. The room had no fridge, access to water, no fan (very hot), poor lighting
Excellent directions sent in advance for parking, but at check-in time, the rooms still weren’t ready. This is not a hotel per se, but a bunch of old residences turned in to hotel rooms. Our room was in a different building from the other 2 members of our family. There is no AC and no fridges in the rooms. The buffet breakfast was excellent and had a wide selection of fresh food.
We had a wonderful experience! The hotel is great—nice and very clean. The view is nice, too! However, our room wasn't ready until 4:20 p.m., not 4:00 p.m. We were able to drop off our bags before checking in and after checking out, which was very convenient. Overall, it was very positive.
Directions/instructions on where to find reception area and how to get to room were unclear and confusing.

We were not sure what code to use to sign in the the parking lot. We emailed the hotel and they promptly told us. It would be helpful if they used WhatsApp so that we could have reached them by phone.
Inside the citadel. You get to experience unique opportunity to be there overnight. The citadel could have more options at night

Check in was really confusing and hared to figure out. The room was clean but moist and stuffy as there is no air-conditioner or fan for the summer months. I can't speak for the rooms that are actually in the hotel as we were in a separate location that is off site, this was not clear when booking. Breakfast was wonderful!
The hotel was clean, however the beds were horribly worn and uncomfortable. It was difficult to check-in with no instructions provided before making it a confusing process while fighting the crowds with luggage. No screens in windows to allow them to stay open to cool off room because of the birds and flies. With the shuttle operating till midnight you do not need to stay on the island to enjoy it with less crowds. Definitely not worth the price.
Staying in a room ON Mont St. Michel was amazing, a once in a life time experience. However, getting to the room was a challenge. I didn't realize I had to stop at a different location to check in before getting to my room so I drug my huge rolling suitcase to the wrong location. Left my son with his bag and mine and went back to the other location, based on the plaque on the door. Checked in and got directions but was still very confused. The qr code just took us to google map directions which were not correct. Also, the picture of the door the check in desk gave me was brown but my door was white. Luckily Mont st. Michel is not big and there were two of us so one could wander around looking for our room # while the other waited with bags. I saw another tourist struggling at the same location I first went to and helped her bc she was just as lost. Finding the breakfast spot was equally challenging and I had to go back to the office to get another picture of the breakfast location. Also, the wifi never worked.
