THE MISSION is the perfect getaway for family & friends - close to the coast path & the popular Wight Mouse pub.
• We are very well equipped for nine guests with lots to do for all ages.
• Kamado barbeque, outside eating area plus a separate cute garden.
• Fast internet & 55" smart TV with Disney+, Netflix & Amazon Prime, lots of DVDs, games & jigsaws.
Four double bedrooms - two downstairs, two open plan bedrooms on the mezzanine above the main space.
All beds have new Eve mattresses (Which's best mattress). We also have a comfy sofa in the main space, suitable for one extra person.
Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, food mixer, food processor, cookbooks & baking equipment. Herbs grow in the garden. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt & pepper, flour, oils are supplied.
There is a terrace off the kitchen perfect for alfresco dining. We have a Kamado barbecue with pizza stone. Steps from the terrace lead to a small & pretty enclosed garden.
Full bathroom with sunken bath. Separate shower room.
The Mission is located towards the bottom of the island, not far from Ventnor. It is near to the Coast Path, two mins to the Wight Mouse pub. Blackgang Chine - Britain's oldest theme park - is five minutes away.
Blackgang Mission was built in 1897 to bring salvation to the smugglers and wreckers of the area. It was run as an evangelical mission until 1991. In the 2010s it was converted into a holiday home, since then it has been the scene of many, many happy holidays - now under new ownership to host many, many more.
