Staff are exceptional, breakfast is truly continental, views of the canal are excellent, location is 5mins walk to San Marco square. It would be even better if there was a lift but after all the pizza and pasta, the stairs are good exercise! The staff help with the luggage upon arrival and departure. Once the dock is functional in February, that will be another bonus, otherwise it's a 5min walk (a little more with luggage) to the nearest dock.

Grand Canal

Fabulous location overlooking the Grand Canal which was mesmerizing and changing every minute from sunrise to breathtaking sunset and sparkling nighttime. Top floor with a view at this price point comes with the price of 3+ flights of stairs. Nice breakfast with fruits, pastries, and protein. Staff was excellent and informative. Front door was 50-yards from the Grand Canal Santa Maria del Giglio stop and 15-minutes from St. Mark’s

Breakfast was delicious and the staff did anything they could to make our stay outstanding. We had a room on the canal and enjoyed watching the activity at night and in the early morning with coffee. Thank you for a lovely stay.

It’s a great small property in a brilliant location, however it is basic and doesn’t have any facilities other than the small reception and the breakfast (which was brilliant!) area beside the rooms on the 4th floor. But value wise it’d be hard to beat. One minus - 4 floors up and no lift for people, but the will send your luggage up in a small service lift.

Liked the positioning just behind the Giglio boat stop. Very conveniently positioned near to piazza Di San Marco. Didn’t like all the stairs to go up and down every time we entered or left the hotel.

This hotel had a fantastic location. It was steps off the Giglio Vaparetto stop. It was very close to St. Mark’s square either walking or by Vaparetto. Also, right next to Musica Palazzo where you can see a wonderful opera in an intimate setting. Delicious breakfast with a balcony off the breakfast room with a view of the grand Canal. Our room was an enormous suite which we were upgraded to for free. The entire place has obviously been completely renovated recently because it was amazing! The only possible downside would be for the unfit or handicapped because there is no elevator and the rooms are on the 3rd floor (4th floor US). Air conditioning worked well. We loved it there!

The location is perfect and right off the boat at Giglio stop. It’s 3 min to San Marcos square and all the high end shops! The breakfast is outstanding and the lounge/breakfast area is in Gran Canal with balcony for all to use. We were more than thrilled with this hotel! Highly recommend it and the rooms are very large. Loved it!

Most excellent stay

The staff was helpful during our stay with directions and suggestions. All was excellent during our stay The breakfast is a typical European breakfast which was one of the best I have had in Europe Great variety of nuts juices and fruit along with the cheese and meats most excellent!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone that would like to be close to San Marco but not spend the San Marco prices!

This property was fantastic. The breakfast was the best one we had in Italy, and we had several at four different hotels. The selections and quality of the food was excellent. The hotel itself was very clean, updated, and very friendly helpful staff. We will stay here again!
