Nice hotel, I would stay here again. The staff was friendly. While the room was basic, it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated. The air conditioning was a little weak. A convenient location too since bus #2, which goes to both Mestre train station and Venice, stops right in front of the hotel.

We loved our stay at Hotel Garibaldi. We stayed in the triple room. It is very tight quarters, but clean and comfortable. The beds are a bit firm but not uncomfortable. The bus took about 30 minutes to get to Venice—longer than we expected, but not bad. Mestre itself was charming and quiet. We felt very safe staying here and would stay here again!

Perfectly situated hotel, near to Mestre centre with numerous bars and restaurants and great for getting about using public transport (into Venice) as the bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, perfect!

Room was comfy and clean. This family run business takes pride in their well run hotel. The breakfast is served by lovely ladies, and it is all very good. The hotel is so convenient for taking a bus into and out of Venice, Mestre is a beautiful, quiet town on outskirts of city. Lovely to walk around, we will definitely stay at garibaldi hotel again!

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Friendly service at the front desk, spotless clean hotel. The bed was the comfiest we’ve stayed in yet. Quiet. It was nice to stay here instead of Venice. The number two bus is right outside the door of the hotel which takes you right into Venice.

Great value hotel

Lovely clean hotel, all staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It isn't luxurious, however it does have everything you need and is great value for money. The number 2 bus leaves the hotel every 10 mins and gets you in to Venice in 25 minutes or so for €1.50. it's ideal.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is super clean, quite, well priced, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast at an extra charge is excellent and not expensive. A 5 minute bus ride away from the Mestre train station, and you can even pay for the bus with a credit card.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right outside a bus stop and very close to the town centre. The reception desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room is a good size and the bathroom has everything you need. The decor is a little outdated/traditional but that does not detract from the comfort and convenience.
