The hotel was clean & very central. My room was tiny but then us single travellers have to put up with this! I did not eat in the hotel but feel the ambience in the dining areas needs to be made more inviting - especially the outside seating area which is virtually non existent. More signage needed to offer eating facilities. I had a room on the first floor, which was very modern & up to date. Receptionist was rather sullen & withdrawn, although helpful!

Property is fine, good location, clean. But we’ve had several notifications of charges to our credit card we still trying to resolve with our bank. And our family was charged at checkin! Hotel says the charges are not from them but they are showing up under the hotels name. Either there’s an issue with billing group or their system has been hacked. Our bank is still working on resolving the triple charge activity.

When booking it said breakfast included (I must say now having been to the hotel I'm glad it wasn't) Really noisy, thin walls between rooms and doesn't feel safe or secure. Stayed with my husband and neither of us slept as bed was so uncomfortable, shower completely flooded the bathroom due to poor design, very bad slip hazard. Luckily was only for one night or I would have cancelled and requested a refund on the spot. Do not recommend!

Location is great. very close to St. Marco Sq. and many others. Room was remodeled in recent years. bathroom is small and shower is very tiny. Overall, room is small that can be understandable for Venice. Day staffs were good. night staff was lazy and did not want to answer anything. Room did not included breakfast. e15 for each person. We did not eat breakfast so, cannot tell how the breakfast. we stayed a couple days. Overall, it was acceptable for Venice area. I would recommend this place to others.

Hidden Gem

We (2 adults & 1 child) stayed at Hotel Do Pozzi for 2 nights in May 2025. Having read a real mix of reviews before arriving, we weren’t sure what we’d find. What we did find was a traditionally decorated Venetian hotel with modern amenities. We were in a family room with 1x double and 1x single and a private bathroom which included a shower over the bath. The room included 2 safes, a minibar and tea/coffee station. Breakfast was a little steep at €15per person per day, given only scrambled eggs presented as warm option, however there is an element of paying for convenience. The chocolate croissants were excellent! Staff were friendly and someone was always available should you need them.

I loved my stay at Hotel Do Pozzi, the staff could’ve been more friendly but I would definitely recommend. The Overnight guy was amazing, the other two could use extra customer service training. Clean rooms, clean bathroom… and housekeeping is also great!

Venice on foot

Once I got past the dozens of not so cute bridges and water obstacles and the fact there are no right angles anywhere. I found the hotel in the midst of the city's high end fashion and shopping district. The hotel might capitalize with better clarity in that regard. And just a couple of blocks from San Marcos
