Pros: •Location can’t be beat. Easy access from airport water taxi station and very central making it easy to explore. •We visited for a week, so having a larger space (600 sq ft) was appreciated. Two bathrooms were clutch. Larger Fridge and easy kitchen space. •I’ve traveled extensively throughout Europe and the showers are typically like the one in the smaller bathroom — a big reason I booked was because the en suite shower looked to be more open and had an actual shower head rather than just a wand. Great temp and pressure. Cons:•Communication (or lack thereof) was absolutely terrible. Didn’t respond on VRBO app or WhatsApp. One response in 7 days, see pics. We didn’t get check in details until already traveling and when asked if we could add on early check in they just never responded until our check in time. Would’ve happily paid for that option.•The heat is controlled remotely (so weird) and it was 25*C/77*F in the apt and we could not turn it down or off. We asked three different times with no help or response. We almost left for a hotel. We gave up and opened all the windows despite mosquitoes and just let the heat go out. Our first three nights of sleep were awful because of this. •Bed was very uncomfortable, hard and no support. Pillows were flat and cardboard. My partner ended up on the couch for the last 4 nights. •I think this is a Venice thing in general but very musty bathrooms.
