Great Base to Explore From

The place was fairly easy to find and very close to the Rialto Bridge, so just a 5 minute walk from the waterbus stop. It is down a couple of little alleyways but it seemed quite safe even at night. The interior is a little dated but very clean and comfortable. The room we had had windows overlooking one of the canals and we could watch the gondolas go past and hear them singing! There are towels provided along with a hairdryer too. A kettle and tea are provided but no tea or milk, however there is a co-op just a few minutes walk away so easy to stock up. A great location to get about from and we saw the whole of Venice on foot from this base. The owner was very friendly and accommodating when we arrived and I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a good base to explore beautiful Venice.

proportional to the price

I have stayed in the carnival season. This hotel is much cheaper than other hotels in Venezia. The hotel is very difficult to find. The hotel stuff cannot speak English. Wifi does not work. The bed is very small. I think that the hotel worth is proportional to the price.

Great location

This a privately owned hotel. The owner is really sweet and very helpful. The only issue was that I had to pay her at the hotel and I thought I had paid thru Orbit. Also you will need google maps on your phone to get around Venice.

Good location. Room clean and comfortable. Good size. Bathroom is basic and has everything I need. However no Wi-Fi connection at room. I had to stay at the reception to get Wi-Fi, as there was also no mobile signal neither.

Great location (when you find it!)

This is an excellent place to stay in Venice. It cannot be called an hotel because it does not do food but all of the other facilities are very good. If I ever go back to Venice I would have no hesitation in staying here

Well situated

Hotel was pretty much what I was expecting - basic, no frills hotel in excellent location. Friendly staff with limited English. Clean accommodations. Beds on short side and mattress and pillows harder than we like. First night there was limited hot water in shower, second day had hot water- no issues. Hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner would have been helpful. Excellent location! Close proximity to St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge where we took boat to from airport. Great restaurants within walking distance. Easy to find if look for contarina Scala Del Bovolo/spiral staircase.

A nice place for short stay at Venice

The location is perfect that allowed us to be at the St. Marks Square even at midnight and enjoy the bands play the music. A five minutes walk from Rialto Bridge Vaperato station was perfect to drag ones luggage. The people were nice and helped carry the luggage upstairs. Perfect air conditioning and very quiet. However wifi didn't work in the room.

loved the evening serenade

The location is kind of hard to get to. I had read that in reviews so I mapquested it at the train station, but it routed me to a water bus that was very expensive. If you lose your map you may be lost like a mouse in a maze. Venice is crazy like that! The place was very homey. More like a pension. The wifi did not work up by the rooms and I had to hang out in the lobby to get service. The owner and her family are nice and friendly. I was working on the internet in the lobby at 21:00 and heard a man singing beautifully from a gondola in the canal right outside the window. That was awesome!

Very pleasant hotel in great location

Great location, close to Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Could be tricky to find without the help of Google Maps app. We happened to be there in July and were very pleased that the air conditioning was working great as it was extremely hot outside. The stuff speaks almost no English, but with smiles and gestures we were able to have our questions answered. Rooms are clean and spacious. We'll definitely stay there again.

Can be hard to find because it's tucked away in a quiet corner. Google map + gps can get confused. But once you find it, it's a nice place at very reasonable price
