Nestled in the breathtaking region of Meteora, Greece, this apartment was a true gem! Impeccably maintained, it offered a welcoming and comfortable space for our visit. The kitchen area was well-equipped and perfectly suited for preparing meals during our stay. The views from the apartment were simply stunning—imagine waking up to a panorama of Meteora's dramatic rock formations and the serene beauty of the surrounding landscapes. *Alsos* It was a last minute decision to visit Meteora after our trip to Santorini got cancelled due to earthquakes. We read about this place which provided us with a beautiful view of the rocks and the monasteries and decided to book it. It was a very pleasant and comfortable stay right in front of the rocks and the owners were quite helpful. The room is comfortable and quiet. It is steps away from the footpath which leads directly to the monastery of “Holy Trinity”. Note that it is about a 45 minute hike with a steep elevation gain. Your other option is to drive right up to the foot of the monastery. The breakfast was also good with a spread of cold cuts, cheese, eggs, fresh juice, and a variety of bakery products and cereals. If you are pressed for time like us, this is a great option instead of eating in the city which will add another 30 minutes. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Comfortable in a central location.

Handy location to walk up to the monasteries. Comfortable and clean but no room facilities such as kettle/coffee machine. Limited parking but we were fine off season.

Comfortable and relax stay in Kalabaka!

My family and I had a lovely stay in Kalabaka. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of Meteora. The bed was comfortable. We arrived in the hotel slightly earlier than the check-in time and was able to check-in right away, the receptionist kindly stored our luggages for us after checking out too. Totally recommend staying here! 10 out of 10!

We enjoyed our stay at Alsos House. It’s right under the Meteora mountains where all the ancient monesteries. It’s also walkable to many decent and affordable restaurants and caffe shops. The place is very clean and quiet

We loved this spot. Right at the trail head to the monasteries. We hiked to all 6 right from the property. Within 10 min walk to many downtown restaurants! Comfortable bed, super clean. Note - this is not a typical 5* hotel. It’s just a great, reasonably priced, safe, clean spot to stay in a great town.

Fantastic location almost at top of the town very clise to trailhead for Holy Trinity monastery. Walk down to town squares is maybe 10 minutes. A 9 euro Breakfast was ok with plentiful selections to fill ip before a day of climbing thousands of steps and walking paths to monasteries. Coffee could definitely be stronger. Rooms are beautifully appointed snd decorated. Cheerful and welcoming family runs this little gem.

I was definitely happy that we stayed at this hotel. It was a bit out of town, but you were able to walk in to town. It was clean, but a bit outdated. I breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.
