There are several bathing spots within walking distance, including Hammar and Fribadet with popular rock pools. The larger Näsetbadet bathing area is also nearby, and for even more variety there is Askimbadet with mini golf and service facilities. For walking and cycling, the former Säröbanan is particularly popular - a beautiful, coastal route that runs southwards from Hovås, with magnificent sea views along the way and the opportunity to stop for coffee or a meal at Hovås Kallbadhus.
