Beautiful park by Los Gatos Area and one my favorite spot to take my kids in the weekend. Ton of activities to do there like kayaking, paddle boats, fishing, bbq, kids playground, etc.
The land within the park's boundaries is among the most historic in Los Gatos. The grantees of the "Rancho Rinconada de Los Gatos", Jose Hernandez and Sebastian Peralta, constructed an adobe house on what is now one of the park's lawns. It was the first structure built in the area.

Everyone was friendly. The host was very responsive and great to chat with. The cottage was cozy and well stocked. I was surprised at how quiet everything was being so close to the freeway. Room was clean and the amenities were fine. The Best Western offered a nice breakfast. Eduardo made freshly made salsa for the eggs. What a nice touch.
