how to start, to find your room it was like a scavenger hunt. They did provide very detailed instructions, it turned out as a mission to find it at 11 pm at night. The hotel is actually an apartment. There was a very strong cleaning product smell and also very damp. Wifi did not work. It got connect but nothing would load. As we arrived, we encountered 2 spiders jn the room. We did not have a car, so it is a good 25 min walk to the center. I have to give credit to Diego to who I just spoke over watzapp. He was very responsive and helpful. He also allowed us to leave our luggage the next day after check out so we could explore. They did provide a nice welcome box gift with some coffee, wine and snacks for the stay. No refill for the coffee though

The a/c was poor, cold-water cooling doesn't remove the high humidity in the air. The washing machine should be a combo washer dryer. The drying rack is useless with the high humidity due point of 68 degrees F. The water heater is leaking water from the high temp and pressure relief valve. That connection should be piped to a drain so when it goes off it doesn't flood the kitchen which it did for us. The service people we called were useless.

The description for the apartment 4 is wrong. There is no vaulted ceiling. There is no lounge with sofa. We went to the office in Menagio to ask them to change for future bookings. Not fair on new customers. Expedia needs to check this is done.
