Nice place for vacations in the center

We stayed at the Onoma Hotel on a short family trip to Thessaloniki in May 2026. The hotel is located right outside of the center, a pleasant 15-20 min walk to the popular main streets (shops/restaurants etc). The lobby is well designed and has a good atmosphere. We stayed at a family room, which was spacious and quiet. The hotel has a small pool on the roof, with a great bar and a nice view. In addition, we used the gym, the game room, and the small basketball court on the grounds and had a blast. The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful and we highly recommend the hotel to others.

Great hotel, close to the port, historical sites and restaurants. Walkable to all. Good breakfast included.

Very dated hotel. Photos on Hotels.com could go against the trade description act. Only lobby and top floor nice. All floors in-between at best a 2 star hotel. No air conditioning when 30° outside. Staff not interested in this - room like a sauna compared to the rest of the hotel. Terrible sound insulation, especially at front of hotel. Would never return or recommend.

Very nice and clean room and bathroom, breakfast was included in price and plentiful. Walking area with many sites of interest nearby. New Metro is super clean and efficient.
