My family and I had multiple rooms across the hotel during our stay. Hotel staff had little to no English so communication was difficult. They were friendly and the location of the hotel was central to everything, allowing us to walk to many areas (convenience store, night market, restaurants, utopia massage, etc). That’s where the good news ends. The hotel looked derelict, the bathroom was nasty. Each time you showered, you flooded the whole bathroom as there was no partition separating the shower to the toilet and the rest of the bathroom. It was a lot dirtier than expected compared to the photos. One night the power went out to the entire street - complete blackout. This was not the fault of the hotel - it appears to happen frequently (approx once a month when too much power in the area is being consumed). Again, not the fault of this hotel - just summarising my experience.

Place was conveniently placed in the center of town so everything can easily be walked to. I would warn that this place is not worth the price, no matter how low. The lack of communication from staff (through Expedia and in person) makes it unbearable. It was difficult to talk to the "owner" of the hotel who makes the executive decisions. The place is not soundproof nor is it clean which is noticed upon walking in. They also claim they offer free breakfast, but would not honor it unless we bugged them. Highly, highly, consider spending a bit more and booking elsewhere. If you can handle the discrepancies between what is stated on Expedia and what it actually experienced then it may be perfect for you.

First impressions of the hotel from outside were bad. Does not resemble photos on Expedia and Google maps. I almost wanted to go to a different hotel. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The downstairs waiting/welcoming area was very dirty and dingy. The check-in person seemed confused for some reason but after I pointed out my name in his notebook and showed him my passport a couple of times, he got his bearings and led the way to my room. The hotel was extremely dirty, broken, old, dank and dingy. I saw several bugs crawling around. I got into the room and while there were bugs outside the room, thankfully there weren’t any crawling around in my room. There were a couple of fruit flies and mosquitoes (I was able to kill the latter to avoid being bitten at night). The room while seemed neat had a slightly dusty floor. It had 2 beds and one of them was very dirty. The other one seemed clean. The bathroom was minimally stacked. The toilet didn’t seem too clean. The phone that was in the room did not work. I called the hotel number using my cellphone to ask for wifi password and the person who answered seemed very bothered that I called and was rude (I’m not sure if that was the same person who checked me in or someone else). Morning checkout staff was friendly and nice. Overall, it deserves 1 star but because of location and morning staff, I give it 2 stars. It wasn’t a very cheap hotel for Vang Vieng so I recommend avoiding it and going to another one.

Amazing hotel amazing price

Pool was great we were always the only ones there. Breakfast was good. Location is AMAZING right by all the best bars and restaurants we could walk everywhere. They helped us book tours for blue lagoon and have all kinds of tours available. The manager/owner was very nice. Ac worked well and room was great. Quiet for being on the main road.

I really love the staff. They work so hard to make my trip perfect. They can schedule so many trips and tickets from the reception. The pool is also very nice. Many restaurants and bars in the area.

While rather septic and lacking in style or ambience and without any view or ground this hotel was actually fine. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Had a safe and refrigerator in the room and a large bathroom with good hot water. Breakfast was quiet usual and the standard buffet with eggs cooked to order.

A very good hotel

This is a most comfortable hotel in the center of Vang Vieng.The staff are most friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.Breakfast is buffet style with different egg dishes to order.Plenty of fruit as well.Everywhere was very clean.

Basically the amenities of a hostel. uncomfortable bed. Very limited breakfast. Staff didn’t speak English. Noisy hallways outside the room. Only good thing was the pool. If you’re going to party you can stay here as it’s right across from Sakura bar.

I was happy with everything from the hotel: the room was clean and widely, the staffs were so friendly, services were very wonderful, the location was in the centre of Vangvieng, the pool and pool area was also very clean. Booked several activities through the hotel as well and we were so happy with everything. The wifi and breakfast was also good. I will stay here if I have chance to come back

The staff was great! Very welcoming. They allowed us to check in early. We got a discount on tubing through the hotel. Breakfast was great. Can’t beat it for the price. The hotel is on a pub street.

ほぼ全て合格点だが、テレビ画面が雨降り状態なのが残念！

清潔感もあり、スタッフも親切だ。一応プールもある。ロケーションも良いと思う。提供される朝食も、質素だが私にはこれで十分だ。そして、指紋認証の金庫が設置されているのには驚いた。一つ気になることがあった。テレビの画面が雨降り状態なのです。スタッフに伝えてたが、治らなかった。ホテル全体なのか、私の部屋だけなのかはわからない。唯一残念事だった。
