I booked this property because I like the location and it’s difficult to find listings in Kitlano. I would stay here again because of the location and because it’s great to have a whole house for your group. There were a few things that the hosts could do to make the stay more enjoyable. First, they hardly left any toilet paper so we had to buy more. Also, many bulbs in the light fixtures were burnt out or missing. Lastly, the living room furniture is really limited. The small couch could only seat two people so a couple of chairs and a larger couch would really help. The home could also use a few small repairs such as filling cracks, fixing base boards, and cleaning stains off walls and doors.

Very noisy heating if you stay in a room downstairs. Many light switches who are not connected and missing light bulbs. Nice older house, cheaply renovated.

Overall cozy home, a little dated in some areas of the house, we could only access the 2 of the 3 bedrooms listed not a deal breaker for us. Home could use a better dust treatment. Hence the lower cleanliness score. Great communication with the host Alan. Close to places to eat and grab coffee.

Clean. Upstairs is very nice. Bedtime downstairs seems a little like a musty basement, but included a small bathroom with shower. Had back patio which was nice but not much view. Host was very accommodating and responsive!

Great location with lots of room

Near shops, restaurants, grocery and bus line etcThe place was very nice with lots of room (whole house and a deck) and a well equipped kitchen. Mostly very comfortable although the 2 downstairs beds were respectively (a) rock hard and (b) squeaky and creaky Couldn't get hold of the owner to ask for another key (and the lockbox was quite difficult and took several tries to open) and how to make the TV work, which we never could...but nobody rentals or hotels ever has instructions about the various television machinery and processes and etc--this one just said no signal. But overall it was fine and we would stay again.

Good Value

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean, there were lots of linens and the beds were comfy. The lockbox at the back of the house, on an unlit walkway left something to be desired and a lack of curtains in the living room. We hung some blankets up for privacy. The host was very kind in mailing a beloved to-go mug back to us when we realized it was missing. Overall it was a great stay and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

Ideal for family

Ideal location for our family- easy walk to Jericho Beach and also a nice longer walk to Grandville Island. The house had adequate room for our family and we enjoyed the deck space in the evenings.
