Cleanliness was good. Staff was nice. No hot water the entire night and following morning. When I inquired about it with the front desk at check-out, she simply said, “Yep… the boiler was broken and was just fixed. You missed it by 10 minutes”… as if this type of thing happens all the time. No apology. No concern. Very strange reaction to having no hot water for over 12 hours.

This hotel is in a very convenient location if you have anything going on in south Asheville/Arden. Don't be bothered by the fact that it's an older building. The grounds and interior were immaculately clean and well maintained. The staff was all super nice and helpful. The on-site Mexican restaurant was excellent and reasonable as well.

Our room could use some additional cleaning and maintenance, but it was overall sufficient for one night in waiting for our early morning flight. The hotel was conveniently located near the Asheville airport.

Outdated and dirty. Picked up old umbrella cover off the floor and threw it in trash. Stucco ceiling, mattress sinks in middle. Hallway has odd smell. Convient to airport. If Clarion is a brand, I will not be staying at another

room was clean - BIGGEST CHALLENGE - the height of the bed. My mother 81 years old post hip replacement had MAJOR trouble getting into the bed due to the height. I am 5'11" and when I sit on the edge my feet DO NOT TOUCH the floor. Beds are comfie but... We did a quick stay due to early flight out from AVL. The shuttle was ready to roll when we came down @ 5:30am! not handicap ready but.. that one I can understand more. but worth noting.
