Well, this was a same day reservation as we decided to take a room near CDG airport for an early departure. I phoned the hotel letting them know that we would arrive at the airport at 11:45 pm and would like to take the free shuttle to the from the airport to the property. The gentleman told me the pickup location and told us to wait there for the grey van with the hotel name on the side. We went and waited for an hour. I could not reach the hotel to find out what was going on. We finally took a taxi to the hotel and there was someone at the front desk who told us that the shuttle service stopped at 11:30. I explained that we had waited an hour because of the information given over the phone. He then gave us our room key and we went up..only to open the door on some sleeping guests who were already occupying the room. Horrible! The front desk apologized and gave us a different room and offered breakfast to us in the morning at the buffet for the trouble. I left first but when my daughter went down she was charged for the breakfast. The room was fine, very basic which was all that we needed, but this whole arrival issue was terrible.
