The hotel itself is beautiful, small, and well located, an easy walk to the village. Unfortunately, the service undermines those strengths. We arrived with our one-month-old child. Twice, once by email and again at check-in, we were assured a pack and play would be in our room. It was not there and was never delivered. Our newborn slept in his stroller. That is not a minor oversight, it is a failure to follow through on a clear commitment. The front desk was also noticeably unfriendly, but the most troubling issue occurred at checkout. While I was taking luggage to the car, hotel staff entered our room twice, roughly 90 minutes before checkout, attempting to rush us out so they could clean. During one of those entries, my wife was actively breastfeeding and not dressed. No meaningful knock. No permission. Just entry. You do not walk into an occupied guest’s room without consent, ever. Doing so twice, while a mother is nursing, is unacceptable. Management needs to reevaluate its priorities. Guests, and their privacy, come before cleaning schedules.

This is our 3rd stay at the hotel. Clean, quiet, big hot tub, very convenient to the gondola, shopping and restaurants. Front desk is very helpful. Parking person was very pleasant and helpful. We got to meet Raser, the hotel mascot. Beautifull chocolate lab. My grandkids each got Raser Beanie baby from the front desk. Excellent hotel. I felt like a family. We will be back again.
