Great location and view!

Wonderful apartment with a great view, would definitely stay here again. Within a quick walk of the main streets and port. The sidewalks aren’t the best around the area so if you have a rolling suitcase be prepared for some rough patches and a small hill, but worth every bit of maneuvering.

We had an excellent stay at La Vela. The apartment was clean and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine, which was a special touch that we really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, with options for every taste and the staff were kind and friendly. The area where the building is located feels very safe and is close to all of the tourist attractions. I highly recommend La Vela as a place to stay when visiting Ushuaia. It’s very deserving of being classed as an Expedia VIP property.

It was a great hotel location is very convenient. Walking distance to port and restaurants. Yes the check-in and breakfast are done in another hotel you have to walk around the block is no shortcut do not try to skimp is not going to help. Personally I did not have a problem with this. The breakfast is perfect cannot ask for better. The rooms are bright clean with all you need to cook if this is what you want coffe tea salt peper. The personal is very helpful we arrived earlier and they had a room to leave our luggage's and the check-in was a breeze.

The apartment is great. The checkin is a long way from your apartment. You have to navigate steps and steep inclines to get to the entrance. Codes worked great for the building but not the apartment. So you hike back to check in to get a lock reset. It is ok if you have two or more people but with one you need to carry bags back and forth. I really like the place yet they need to simplify the check in process. Hopefully is better for those regularly using WhatsApp. Consider getting it if you don’t have it!

Great place. Clean, great location, spacious. The location is in a busy street so it is a little loud, but I was so tired every day that I was able to sleep throughout the night. The kitchen was a great idea because most coffee shops open around 9 and the tours usually pick you up around 8. Highly recommended to stay a few days in Ushuaia!

Great property. Access to check in is more confusing for us gringos than it needs to be - it’s literally the hotel directly behind the property (on the street behind). Best location in town.
