Decent stay across from the beach

This is an older hotel with nice staff and okay facilities that's across the street from the beach. There was initially no towels in my room, but they corrected that right away. It's a good hotel depending on what you're looking for. If you want something a bit older, with decent accommodation, and good breakfast, then this is your choice. The wifi is horrible and doesn't work in rooms.

A very good hotel a cross the road from the beach large balconies with sea view and good internal facilities friendly and helpful staff throughout, under the control of a manager who seems never to leave his post nice beach bar with very attentive staff giving the extra bit to give you good service. Would return again.

Underbart omrÄde, ett ok hotell med perfekt lÀge.

Helt ok hotell med vÀldigt trevlig och hjÀlpsam personal. Rummen Àr stora, rena och frÀscha med bra balkong. Hotellet ligger i Unawatuna utanför Galle som Àr supertrevligt. Hotellet ligger helt perfekt vid stranden med egna solstolar och strandrestaurang. Minus med hotellet Àr frukosten, vi köpte frukost pÄ andra stÀllen de flesta dagarna. Sedan har de vÀldigt gamla obekvÀma sÀngar och inte mycket varmvatten.

A nice place near the beach

I liked the hotel. First I was a litlle suspicios because I had read so many bad comments but the hotel was very comfortable. The hotel has the old charm. There were two of us and we had two big rooms with ocean views. All people in the hotel were very friendly and both of us enjoyed our stays. The breakfirsts were good enough. There was one thing what I cannot understand and what I didn`t like. When we came to the hotel I ought to show that the breakfirst is included in my reservation . Why? DonÂŽt they know what they had sold me? I had taken the papers in english but there was aamiainen kahdelle.

HÎtel bien placé

HĂŽtel de style colonial qui mĂ©rite un rajeunissement. Cher pour la prestation offerte. Chambre spacieuse et propre mais triste (vieux parquet sombre - murs sans dĂ©coration). Pas de bouilloire Ă  disposition dans la chambre - Manque de variĂ©tĂ© des petits dĂ©jeuners - Impossible de se connecter en wi-fi dans la chambre - Une seule chaise - Fauteuils dĂ©tĂ©riorĂ©s sur le balcon - MĂ©nage tous les deux ou trois jours. Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© la gentillesse du personnel et notamment de Yunnee qui se dĂ©mĂšne pour donner satisfaction Ă  vos requĂȘtes. La plage face Ă  l'hĂŽtel est agrĂ©able. Belle vue depuis la chambre. Les toilettes communes ne sont pas accueillantes.... Certains soirs sont trĂšs bruyants ( musique trĂšs forte venant de cafĂ©s proches parfois jusqu'Ă  3 H du matin).

Olimme offseason kaudella toukokuussa Unawatunassa. Paikka oli aika hiljainen, mutta erittÀin miellyttÀvÀ mitÀ pitempÀÀn paikassa olimme. :)Iltaisin paikka hiljeni kyllÀkin klo22 mennessÀ. Hotellin henkilökunta oli erittÀin mukavia kaikki.

Slitet men bra lÀge

Perfekt lÀge pÄ stranden (Àven om sjÀlva hotellet ligger pÄ andra sidan den lilla gatan). VÀnliga och trevliga och bra vÀrde för pengarna. Men hotellet Àr slitet och kÀnns lite dekis. Bra att utgÄ frÄn och njuta av Unawatunas övriga utbud.

UdemĂŠrket

Det var et fint hotel efter hvad jeg ellers har set i 2 uger pÄ Sri Lanka. Hotellet havde smÄ mangler (skuffende morgenmad, kun rengÞring hvis man bad om det og gav os et forkert vÊrelse fÞrste dag), men de gjorde op for det meste i service! De gjorde alt hvad de kunne, for at rette op pÄ tingene og gjorde det med et smil.
