Located in Port Shepstone, Umthunzi Hotel & Conference is by the ocean, within a 5-minute drive of Umtentweni Beach and Umtentweni Public Library.
No elevator, no dining option other than room service with limited menu. Room was clean but dated. Only 5 channels on the tv and none of them any good. Some broken furniture in room. Breakfast buffet was good. People were nice.

We stopped here on the way to Caribbean estate, location was okay but we were very impressed with the inside of the hotel. Although basic, very clean and staff were great
