Check in was okay. The lobby had avery strong odor of insense, to an almost intolerable level. But it was quick. Eventhough i had a room with two beds, I was only given one key.
Went into the room, which smelled of paint. Other reviews said it had been freshly remodelled. At first glance, the room looked clean. One of my group took a shower and found someone else's hair on a towel.There was paint splattered on the floor.
I went to the counter to request a blanket, as they are thin, with holes, like little burn marks. The new clerk at the counter had to locate keys to the laundry/supply room. We walked there and got an extra blanket. I could see they seem to do their own laundry on site, versus using a service with industrial eashers.
My guest and I checked the two beds to find one sheet was dirty, and had stains. The second bed had pet hair on the sheet. I noticed another human hair on my pillow and a sheet that had discolor stains or was dirty. I walked back to the desk with three of the pillows that were dirty. The guy that checked me in was brought to the counter by the new clerk. I could tell he ad been asleep. I showed him the pillows and eplained my sheet. He said he didnt believe the pillows was dirty, which was problematic, in my eyes. When i asked if i could get my sheets changed he said hed give me a new room. He clearly wanted to go back to bed and not deal with this.
The new room I got did not smell of paint, but there was other issues
