The space
This bright and colorful studio has been designed to perfection, effortlessly integrating function and fengshui - and is especially perfect for a solo female traveler. At MAYA, no matter how you’ve arrived, you’ll leave floating like a feather, feeling light and airy and ready to share your abundant calling with the world. Do you know what that calling is yet, Sweet Heart? Whatever it is, MAYA will help reveal it.
Featuring a plush, orthopedic bed, a cozy lounge corner, a handmade hammock that overlooks the private pool, and comfy patio chairs, MAYA has no shortage of ways to simply relax and be present in the moment. Here, you are encouraged to embrace the beauty of now. The fully-equipped kitchen (with tiny fish guardians no less!) along with full bathroom harmoniously bring nature into the space so your nervous system will feel the calming, humming effects of what it’s like to live aligned in this, your new jungle home. You can cook your favorite meal and hear the song of the birds - or bask under the moon in your deep soaking tub! MAYA is located inside the exclusive 11:11 ALCHEMY compound. There are only five private villas behind the 11:11 Blue Door ;). You’ll receive a key to our front gate and to your private unit upon check-in.

FAQ
“Will air-conditioning be required?”
As Ubud is much cooler than the coastal areas a fan is usually sufficient for our guests. The nights are warmer from November to March.
We have air conditioning and good strong fans to keep the air flowing for those who desire it though.
“How do I get to/from the airport?”
We offer an airport transfer service for a fee of Rp500,000. Alternatively, you can get a taxi from the 'arrivals' bay. The journey usually takes about an hour, depending on traffic.
“Are the mosquitoes a problem in Ubud?”
Like all tropical locations, Ubud has mosquitoes (non malarial) - This differs at different times of the year. All beds have mosquito canopies and insect repellant is on hand if needed
Also, the area is teeming with birds and wildlife, occasionally these critters might "trespass" ... as they have no idea of man-made boundaries. The staff cleans thoroughly daily, so be assured we move them on and there are no actual "residents". If you are squeamish about such things then you may want to find alternative accommodations in the area however.
