We had a fun Girls weekend at Tybee Island and enjoyed our stay at Lighthouse Point. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo was excellent. Decor and furnishings all look recently updated for an upscale coastal vibe. The resort is well maintained with pool and tennis courts which we did not have time to use. All units are a brief walk through the dunes to the beach on private maintained walkways. The beach is north side of Tybee at the mouth of the Savannah River with great views from our balcony of big cargo ships coming into port, as well as sailboats and shrimp boats. From the beach there is a great view of the lighthouse and in the evening, the lights of Savannah to the west and Hilton Head to the north. Lots of great restaurants on Tybee Island but not within walking distance so transportation is a must. But golf cart rentals are available nearby and golf carts are allowed on all the roadways on Tybee. Would definitely stay at Lighthouse Point again.
