The only accommodation available was the 3 bdr house. At a glance, it was great. There were only 2 of us and it was reasonably priced. The sofas were filthy so we had to put towels down to sit on. The bdr’s were clean as was the bathroom. The toilet sounds like a foghorn when it’s flushed. All this to say, not too bad but, get some new furniture and a plumber or new toilet and it would be amazing.

Room was huge, comfortable and affordable with free parking. Everything I needed and loved being right beside the lake, whilst also convenient for Mt Cook National Park, Lake Tekapo and restaurants in town. It felt very safe, relaxed and family friendly.

Lake Ruataniwha Holiday Park was a great choice for our family. The kids had a blast playing in the playground with other kids and exploring the park grounds and the lake. We were surprised by the Rosehip cottage in the best way. The cottage is very spacious with two separate bedrooms, a generous size bathroom and the washing machine was very convenient. We’d definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

The property was clean, with good facilities, friendly staff, and a beautiful area. What we didn’t like was the overall campsite, which in some parts looked like a construction site.

We had Rosehip Cottage, a self contained holiday house. The washer was a big plus. Convenient parking, quiet, clean and spacious. Comfy beds. The property is outside the town of Twizel, a 5 minute drive. We found the wi-fi a little slow.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room - Tekapo - had 2 rooms, one with a larger bed and the other much smaller room with a bunk bed. The space was small but cosy. We appreciated the play area of the kids and the lake is a short walk away.

Cute and quiet accommodation. I had a decent sized cabin all to myself. Washrooms were well serviced, and they offer you a box with kitchen supplies upon check in. I liked that my cabin had a fridge and kettle.

we were in a cottage with 2 bunk beds on a back area. we were across from a tent that was in very poor repair with alot of "junk" scattered around the site.it looked like it was a seasonal site. it made the whole experience VERY unappealing as we didnt want to sit outside on the porch overlooking that area. the whole park had an air of another era with old, dilapidated trailers AND it was not even economical.

We stayed in one of the cubes and it was perfect for the three of us (2 kids, 1 adult). Very close to the kitchen and bathrooms. The only thing I would add is a bigger fridge in the kitchen!
