Perched atop a hill, the cabin is rumored to have originally been a prohibition- era bootlegger’s hideout, with its original restored limestone wood burning fireplace. With renovations over the years, today Owl’s Rest has one cozy king-sized bed in a loft which is open to the vaulted, 1.5 story main great room below. It has a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a separate laundry room. Enjoy your coffee in the Adirondack chairs around a cozy fire among the mature oak trees or dine alfresco on the patio under the big pines. Owl’s Rest is located 15 min from Lake Geneva, 1 hour from Milwaukee, and 1.5 hours from Chicago on one acre inside a large old growth forest with a few surrounding neighbors and wildlife. Local owners are off property, minutes away. The one-acre property is accessed by a long uphill gravel driveway, with parking for two cars. Due to the nature of the property, there is uneven terrain with some steep slopes, and the property is not considered accessible or child-proof.

Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave.
