Great Location and helpful staff. However, three big problems with our room. Air conditioning did not work well. Nice maintenance guy did what he could at 9pm but AC was still weak. Fridge was broken. Mattress was extremely soft and lumpy. During Bama tour we learned the football team stays at Capstone night before the very home game, so perhaps Hotel needs to replace the mattresses more often.

Hotel Capstone is conveniently located to everything on campus - everything is in walking distance. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Checkin/out was seamless. I will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel if you need to stay on the UA campus. There is no breakfast included, and you'll have to get in your car to get breakfast unless you spend $12 to get the same breakfast you get for free at the nearby Holiday Inn. Will stay somewhere else within walking distance of food and shopping next time for less cost per night.

Front desk was very rude. We arrived early knowing that our room might not be ready but wanted to store our luggage. Before we even arrived at the front desk we were barked at saying we could not check in. Another member of staff helped us out. The rooms were in need of upgrade. There was no shampoo. The only positive was the location.

Hotel Capstone Stay

Staff was phenomenal from the front desk to the service. We especially liked our bartender Julian, he made delicious drinks and made sure our food was as ordered. Great burgers, Club Sandwich, fries, fish, salads! Breakfast was very good as well and service there was very professional! We will definitely stay there again.
