On arrival their seemed to be some confusion over breakfast,although we had paid for B&B, apparently that only included cold and whilst we could pay extra for hot food that would mean bringing in a chef just for us as we were the only guests.......this didn't feel very welcoming. We were shown to our room which was freezing cold and when we asked when the heating would come on we were told she couldn't say as she wasn't part of the housekeeping team ! At dinner we had to argue the toss over our pre booked Xmas dinner which when it came was very average indeed. Positives, clean room, great food in the restaurant/bar, friendly staff. Semi negative, room only as wide as the bed plus bedside drawer, so quite small. Room was right outside the lit pub sign, which stays on all night, so very light bedroom even with blinds down. Car park entrance is literally as wide as the car, so be super careful, you can see marks all over the wall where people have hit it.

Lovely room in this very characterful pub in the centre of the beautiful village of Crickhowell. Excellent service throughout the stay and friendly staff. Easy off road parking.

Breakfast included when rooms were booked and had confirmation on iPad. Presented with a bill for £66.00 and told policy had changed. In my opinion if it was available when booked then it should have been honoured.

Great loaction, access to car park very tight,. Great staff and good food. Room was good but bathroom was tiny, room 10, and meant taking a shower required kneeling down. Although outside of ther control, burgular alarm went off on 2 consecutive days at 1am as a result of power failures.

A great base for walkers, runners, cyclists and foodies. Friendly staff and a comfortable stay. The pub has great character Breakfast and dinner service is slow, no issue if you are happy to take your time. As B&Bs go, a lovely stay and great value. Would return for sure.

The room was far too small and should not have been advertised as a double room. Impossible to use the taos in the sink as they were fitted too far back. The shower was just a trickle of water. Advertised as breakfast included but was only continental breakfast so thus was very misleading .

Lovely hotel the staff are very pleasant and helpful, car parking at rear is a little tight to get into as the entrance st the side of the hotel is quite narrow, the rooms are very cosy and quiet would definitely stay here again.
