We had the most unpleasant and uncomfortable stay I’ve ever had in all my years traveling. When we booked the hotel, there is no warning or indication that the place was under construction. When we arrived, there was no staff present. We waited for the a while for the one on duty staff to appear. The minute we walking into the hotel we were greeted by the strong smell of paint fumes, construction debris and noise. I immediately wanted to leave but our family of 5 very tired adults had booked the hotel for five days as we were there to plan an attend, my sister‘s funeral. The horrible experience of having to stay in a hotel that was under contraction anove us, below us and accross from us was terrible but we were grieving and just trying to stay together and be stroking ever single day. To the hotels, Credit, they did offer us to look and see if there was another room that could accommodate us. Unfortunately, every single room smelled of wet furniture as it look like they had just wet, wiped the couches and surfaces and every single room. It smelled awful, like old wet smelly furniture. The only thing that could remedy this miserable stay is a full refund for our five-day stayl. But that was not offered to us and when I asked for a refund so we could go look for a different hotel we were told that they could not cancel or refund us what I had paid ahead of time for the five day stay. I would not recommend this place

Hotel is a little older but it was safe and breakfast was good. Wish the sofa didn't have holes and smell weird but the bed was clean and it felt spacious and safe, though the shower was old and floor tiles cracked.

Stayed here for a convention at the Renaissance. Beds were very comfortable, rooms & hotel were clean. Our room had a little stovetop, small fridge/freezer, a microwave, and a dishwasher, which was really neat! Shower had great water pressure.

There was several stains in the shower in couches and on the bed. I think all "clean" stains but still pretty gross. The cabinet door handle fell off in my hand and the fridge was freezing my food. Not the freezer , the fridge. Our stay was nice and staff where kind and helpful

Staff were kind and helpful. Due to renovations or broken doors..were very hard to walk for elderly or someone with heart conditions. Had to walk through the whole building just to get to pool or dining. Room was nice and pets are welcome. Great stay.

The staff were kind and courteous. The pillows had a "laid on them" smell. There were" small "splatters" throughout the room. And a MOUSE was in our room, going through our trash!! This has never happened to us in all our travel experience.

The ONLY positive was the wonderful associate on duty, Tyce!! She went above & beyond to make our stay tolerable. *Common areas were HOT as hell *Room was hot-turned air down to 69 w/no relief *Furniture looked as if it had been left outside for months, terribly stained *broken/unusable/stained toilet that was NEVER fixed *keys continually quit working *ice machine broken I have much higher expectations for a Hilton property. Tyce did move me & my guests to 2 separate but side by side rooms that were adequately cool. First impressions of room made mw want to leave the property-smelled musty, stained furniture-heat….Luckily Tyce came to the rescue. 2nd room had broken toilet, that appeared to have been used(poop stains) and a wet towel laying next to base of it, the handle was clearly broken/unusable, furniture was also stained in these rooms, we asked for extra sheets to out on furniture to feel comfortable. Due to proximity of our appointments and lack of time we had no choice but to stay at this property. I was not impressed and not sure i will EVER trust Expedia to book a room again.
