Handy for Puy du Fou

Comfortable place for a visit to Puy fu Fou. The rooms are a little small. Breakfast is very good. Restaurant is very good but also very busy so reservation is advisable.

We stayed one night here prior to a visit to Puy du Fou. We had a family room for four people. It was fairly small, but had everything we needed and the space had been carefully designed with plenty of room for luggage etc. It was also nice and clean. The restaurant does excellent food in the evening (well worth visiting whether you are staying at the hotel or not) and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Good location for Puy du Fou

Stayed 2 nights when visiting Puy du Fou. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and the children enjoyed the pool. I’d recommend.

Excellent location for Puy du Fou, on outskirts of Les Herbiers . Clean with good breakfast and welcoming pool.

This was m'y second stay in two weeks, but this time I came with two friends who had their own room. Our first heat wave of the year, and the hôtel has air conditioning, but refuses to turn it on, stating that thé entire hôtel would be freezing. Confusing since thé room have their own thermostats. With no screens on thé windows, we could not open thèm. For the second time, I only got three hours sleep, as did my traveling companions.

Hôtel très correcte

Rien à redire sur l'hôtel quoi qu'un accès peu pratique. Par contre le restaurant de l'hôtel (l'orchidée) est à éviter à tout prix. Une demi heure après notre arrivée nous n'avions toujours pas commandé et le personnel ne nous croyaient pas. Les plats bien présenté mais d'une qualité médiocre, la présentation en devenant donc inutile.

Bob Dylan at Poupet

Could not rate this hotel higher overall, particularly standard of cuisine. Service and friendliness of staff excellent. Hotel is obviously mainly used by people going to Puy du Fou, but also convenient for us going to Festival of Poupet (Bob Dylan's appearance there)

Nice hotel, friendly reception, nice restaurant, pool a little small but adequate (a little chilly too). Room nice (tho double just slightly on small side for the price) with very good en suite.

Comfortable Hotel close to Puy Du Fou

Recption staff were very good and spoke good ENglish. The pool was very good and not too busy The breakfasts were very nice especially with the views The hotel location was good for access to Puy Du Fou The evening meal we had was excellent It would have been good to have a fridge in the room
