This property will take you back in time and is truly one of a kind. Just a short drive from the hustle and bustle you'll find this private wilderness retreat that has modest accommodations but boasts huge perks like central AC, a rowboat for guest use, and great cell service.

Enjoy endless hours of fun on your very own private beach, then come in and relax with all the comforts of home. Excellent swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Our one-mile trail around Twin Lake is great for families and perfect for guests who love mountain biking, hiking, trail running, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. No motorized boats or vehicles of any kind or horses allowed.

Inside, the decor is vintage and offers guests the basic essentials. The home comfortably sleeps 4 guests between two nice-sized bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a queen-sized bed, dresser, and closet. The second bedroom has two twins, two dressers, and a closet. The living room has a pull-out couch and the large picture window lets in lots of light with amazing lake views. The kitchen has everything you need to make three square meals plus additional serving wear for holidays and a propane outdoor grill. The dining room seats five plus there is additional seating on the three-season porch. Smart tv, books, games, and a DVD player are provided.

Important to Know:
- Only the lower part of the vintage oven works.
- The wood burning stove is ornamental only.
- No wifi, but great cell service!
- 1 rowboat is available for guest use. Boat is stored outside so it may have leaves and debris on them.
- No motorized boats or commercial boat rentals are allowed on either lake.
- No aquatic hitch hikers allowed! All kayaks, rafts, and sand toys must be rinsed off prior to use in the water.
- No live minnows for fishing bait.
- There is a marked color-coded trail system that guests can use to help explore our vast acreage.

Rental Policy:
- No smoking of any kind or fireworks are permitted.
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted.
- No hunting, no motorized boats, no off-road vehicles, no horses, no snowmobiles.
- 2 dogs are okay (Please no dogs for hunting) upon approval. $150 Non-refundable pet fee per pet.

To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. The cost for Safely is $49 for 1-29 nights, $249 for 30-59 nights, $319 for 60-89 nights, and $390 for 90-119 nights. All reservations will initially be charged a $49 Safely Damage Insurance Fee. For stays longer than 29 nights, the additional charges will be processed after booking. All reservations are subject to the guest agreement terms, conditions, and fees.

Guest Access:
This property features self-check-in. Check-in is permitted between 4:00 pm -10:00 pm. Guest are responsible for having their check-in instruction before arrival. Check-in instructions are sent after completing our guest check-in form and agreeing to our terms of service. The home's property address will also be sent separately 72 hours prior to check-in.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are provided with a small amount of the basic essentials including 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, 2 dish pods, a full dish soap dispenser, and full soap dispensers in each bathroom, and basic cleaning supplies. Guests are not to use the host's inventory of bulk supplies left at the property and should be prepared to supply their own as needed for longer stays.

CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
•November-April: Set the heat/thermostat to 55 degrees and close the blinds.
•May-October: Shut off everything and close the blinds.
•Strip beds (not mattress pads) and pile all sheets and towels on the floor near the washer. Start a load of towels in the washer. (If applicable.)
•If you used more than 2 shower towels, hand towels, or washcloths per person we ask that you wash, dry, and put the excess away before checking out. (If applicable.)
•Dispose of all food. No food or beverages are to be left inside the property.
•Put all trash in the garbage bin. Trash instructions are noted in your Guest Guide Link. Please take the trash to the road if your stay falls on or within 48 hours of trash day.
•Put patio cushions back. (If applicable.)
•All dishes must be washed, dried, and put away. Dirty dishes may result in a $100 additional guest cleaning fee.
•Turn off all lights.
•Lock the door.
