It's your standard hotel. The breakfast had meat, eggs, and hash browns which is always a huge plus. Saves you the cost of going out to eat. My only complaint was there was a strange electrical surge sound that chimed about every 5 minutes.

Great location for Turtle Creek Stadium. Hotel was clean, breakfast was standared fare for buffet. I have no complaints & plan to stay again next year for the Internationsl Firework Competition

This is very much a "you get what you pay for" type hotel. If you're willing to be a little removed from the city and deal with some inconveniences to save a few bucks it works, but overall I didn't find the tradeoffs worth it. Beds were rock hard, a/c units rattled, floors and walls were thin, and shower curtain rods weren't installed correctly so shower curtains couldn't stay closed (and thus the bathroom got flooded). I was not a big fan of the 1st floor room windows having fixed curtains, which meant that anyone could peep in from outside at any time. Location was good - a 10 minute straight shot up into Traverse City and staff were friendly enough. However, we wouldn't stay again.

The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and there was what looked like ketchup spatter on the wall that hadn't been cleaned up. The headboards needed to be wiped down as well.
