Reasonable hotel

Entirely acceptable place to stay. Fairly small, but clean bathroom and room, which is always nice. Very close to the train, so easy to get out for day trips. We saw many castles, which were accessible via the train station. Also close to city center, so lots of places to explore and see close to the hotel.

Good value in good location.

Rooms were large and ours had a small balcony. The refrigerator was stocked with over priced drinks - so many that we could hardly fit any of our own items in it. Parking on the street is an issue; free after 6:30pm, but if you arrive before 4pm it is very hard to find a spot and you have to feed the meter every two hours. The people at the front desk were nice, but you have to turn in your key to them every time you leave the hotel.

Clean and homely

Value for money budget hotel. Very close to the train station and tourist office which was the main reason for the booking. Room was simple and clean, the bathroom was fine and the hotel overall had a nice homely feel to it.

Not so "moderne"!

Although this hotel is conveniently located near the train station, and the staff #of two# were friendly and helpful, we were disappointed with this hotel mainly because it did not have an elevator. We had some heavy luggage and could not navigate the narrow stairs with it. As a result we were given an apparently out-of-use room on the main floor, which still had to be accessed by some stairs and a circuitous route through the private quarters of the staff! The room itself was very large but rundown, with a sagging mattress and a toilet that was not bolted to the floor. That said, we slept heavily anyway as the location was quiet #especially for a Saturday night#. The continental breakfast was very good and served in a quaintly kitschy room. We could recommend this hotel as sufficient value for the relatively low price of 68 euros as long as the travellers are carrying a minimum of luggage and/or are reasonably young.

The hotel was clean and in a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room decor is dated and the bed needed replacing but the facilities in the room were good. Overall this hotel provides very good value for money.

Good clean hotel in a central location. Train and bus station within 5 minutes of hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room on first floor affected by late night/early morning traffic noise. Very good value for money.

Really made welcome

Hotel very comfortable 'old-style' french. Close to centre. Owner really helpful when needed to buy a cable for my sat nav. Parking per meter which could have been expensive but warden only came infrequently.

Accueil au top, chambre cosy

Check-in au top, très arrangeant sur l’heure de départ ! Chambre spacieuse et convenable, petite salle d’eau. Le seul reproche serais le bruit venant d’une autre chambre (soirée) mais je n’en tiendrais pas rigueur sachant que cela doit être assez rare dans l’établissement.

Hotel assez "vieillot" mais propre, il a l 'avantage d'être au coeur de la ville. Parking sous terrain à moins de 5 min à 6euros les 24h donc parfait! Accueil sympathique

Pratique, mais manque d’entretien

Accueil très agréable. Néanmoins, l’hôtel est vieillissant, les chambres (du moins celle que j’ai occupée) manquent cruellement d’entretien. Par contre, on ne peux enlever le rapport prix / localisation imbattable. Très bien situé, l’établissement fait l’affaire pour une nuit (mais pas plus...) en cas de besoin de résider en Hyper centre ville De Tours.
