Nothing bad to say

Staff were friendly, signs and general layout was logical so everywhere was easy to find. The room was what we booked, clean, and in good condition. The breakfast was pretty good and the "extras" were reasonably priced and sized. Parking lot was in good condition. Easy access to a Walmart, the Vaughn Metro transit station, and generally convenient location for anyone looking to go to Vaughn Mills, Wonderland, or the Rogers Stadium.

Hotel and lobby looks nice, but thats a misleading picture about the hotel. Room wasn't in good shape, ac unit was barely functioning, carpet in the room was worn and dirty, room had a smell of mould, probably coming from ac unit. Only one of two elevators was working and it was constantly in use, we had to use the stairs. Would not stay again in this hotel, there are far better ones around for the similar price

This is an older facility. It has been updated, but house staff share the elevators with guests and it makes difficult for them, and elevator service slow for everyone. It was hot during our stay and the hallways and elevators are not well cooled. The front desk staff are welcoming and very helpful. The hotel is clean. The room has a safe which was great. Breakfast is lacking. They do make a breakfast for purchase, but not what we would order. We stayed on the top floor and the plumbing is old, but our room had a 3-4 minute sort of hot shower experience with washcloths the size of postage stamps. The second person would get a tepid/cold shower. Check out was interesting as we waited for a housekeeper to check the room so they could refund our damage deposit. Our usual experience has been it just shows up on the card as a credit or a null charge. Upper mgmt decision? Definitely odd.

The tub was very dangerous because there was no bath mat. It is very difficult to enter because of the height. Especially with a person with a total knee replacement. Aside from that the staff first class. A pleasure to deal with.

The location was ideal near the subway and banquet facility The complementary breakfast was very nice Counter staff was friendly. Room was clean and efficient but there was a musty odour possibly from older carpeting and fabric sofa. Recommend a shampoo. The AC unit was older and not efficient.

The greeting was subpar, I had to force a greeting checking in and checking out, as well as when we came back from our event no one said a thing from the desk. No one offered areas to eat, attractions, shopping anything. The breakfast was brutal even though continental, it should still be edible or a bit of variety. The rooms was a good size but it needs a deep clean at the corner of floors and the fridge should be cleaned every time.

Jacuzzi and fireplace in the room were good features. Room was well kept and very nice. Other areas of the hotel could use some updates such as the fitness room. It has a basic breakfast of pastries and bananas, no eggs (without an upcharge) and no waffle maker!
