Last night we called the desk as the toilet in the room was clogged and wasn’t flushing. We called around 6pm and the person that answered said that there was no one available to come up. When we were checking out this other worker was at the front and he informed him about it and was very kind about it. He said he will speak to the other worker because there should’ve been someone available and there was a plunger behind the desk that he said he should’ve gave us to use.

Room had an unpleasant smell. Bed had an even more disgusting odor and definitely requires more cleaning. Microwave felt unsafe to use. Essentials provided felt cheap. Front desk staff was cold and he didn’t reply to greetings. Checkout staff was busy so we never talked but I don’t fault him for that. Breakfast ladies were helpful and courteous.

The room was just okay. Mattress was average and quite saggy. Layout of the room had the fridge quite close to the bed such that the fridge door sweep would hit the bedside table! The fridge was also quite loud and made it hard to sleep. There was no boot tray or mat at the entrance door, and being winter, made it so dirt and water were all over the floor and tracking into the bathroom. Only real standout was the great shower with multiple mounted heads and great water pressure. The breakfast options were average for the most part, although on some days, it seemed like the eggs were reused from the day before. The location of the hotel is convenient, although the proximity to the QEW and Erin Mills Pkwy makes it a bit noisy.

Amazing room ! Amazing amenities ! But the front desk that recurve was definitely not customer service-y but the Mornin after that I checked out, the gentleman was better . Definitely could use a little more politeness and dedication and cheerfulness to receive guests.
