For the fit and ready

A nice little unit. Cleanliness was pretty average with used toothbrushes and razors still on the sink. Was not overly impressed having to hike 5 flights of stairs to get to the unit (i missed that on the description). Despite nominating on the booking 5 people were staying only supplied 4 of everything. Overall it was budget accomodation in a safe area. I would look elsewhere before staying again.

Could Use More Transparency and Amenities

Our stay at this property was not without challenges, primarily due to a lack of certain basic amenities and cleanliness. It's a long walk up a hill (~8-9min) from Otsuka Station. It's in a quiet neighborhood but be ready to walk. The listing does mention that there is no elevator, which is a significant oversight, especially considering the property is located on the fifth floor. This made moving luggage quite cumbersome and physically taxing. Additionally, the bathroom setup left something to be desired. The shower is quite cramped, and the privacy screen seemed like a makeshift addition—less than ideal, particularly for a group co-ed setting. In terms of amenities, we found the provisions to be minimal. Hand soap was initially missing, although the property manager did respond and replace it the next day. However, the lack of paper towels and hand towels felt unusual, with only bath towels provided. Overall, the accommodations came across as rather frugal, and a bit more attention to these basic details would make for a much better guest experience.

The laundry machine didn't work because the filter was not cleaned. Also, the fan in the bath room was broken. Moreover, the floor was not well cleaned up.
