The property is located slightly outside the city, but it’s very close to the airport limousine bus stop, making it extremely convenient. The train station is just 50 meters away from the hotel. However, there aren’t many restaurants in the surrounding area, so guests will need to venture out a bit more for dining options.

I stayed in a double room that included breakfast. The room was a little more spacious than most in Japan and had your basic amenities: desk with kettle and drinkware, fridge, safe, hangers for clothes. The location of the hotel above the Roppongi-Ichitome station was so central and excellent for getting to other areas in Tokyo by train. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to Roppongi crossing. I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine. My only complaint would be the breakfast buffet, which was the most expensive but had the smallest variety out of the three hotels I stayed in during my Japan trip.

The price is too high for such an average room and facilities. Too far from everything, entertainment area and such. You need to catch train to go another line to go anywhere. Poor location for visitor. Good for business only. Not recommended.

Bad luck with room

I stayed for 4 nights. The room is clean, and actually quite spacious. My issue was that the bathroom smelled terrible and could not be resolved with their deodorising spray. The bath drain seemed to drain slower than the bath draining itself so the drain would overflow and potentially be the cause of the bad smell caused by mold. I asked my friend staying in the same hotel if he had the smell issue and he said no so it might've just been my room.

Room was super clean and big enough to open 2 suitcases and not trip over them. The pillows are really, really hard. Uncomfortably so. But the bed itself was comfortable. The shower was amazing; one of the best have had in any hotel. Thought it was weird that a lot of the amenities that you usually find in a hotel bathroom (toothbrush/cotton buds etc) are in the reception so you have to go get some if you want them. No coffee machine but there is a kettle, fridge & safe. We used the iron down in the communal laundry area but again would have been nice to have in the room. Location of the hotel is great, right next to a subway station and a 10 min walk from both Roppongi and Akasaka. Is also a 5 min walk from a pick up spot for the limousine bus to the airport, which was great for us. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Peaceful location. Rooms are decent size for 2 American adults, can sleep 3 but will be very tight in space with luggage if you want comfort stay 2 only. Metro entrance steps away. Family mart less than 5min. Starbucks 2min walk way. Tokyo tower 15min walkway. Located near high end stores (15min) walk. Will stay again .
