Escape to the peaceful surroundings of Tiverton, RI, adjacent to the Emilie Ruecker Wildlife Refuge, at Captain King’s Farm. Operated by Adam & Kristin of Sakonnet Farm & Stays, with 15+ years of hosting experience, this stylish two-bedroom home blends historic charm with modern comfort.

Captain King, a former whaling captain, built his home in 1848. Recently fully renovated, the home retains its original character while offering contemporary updates. The first-floor ensuite features a cozy queen bed, while the second-floor king bedroom suite offers a luxurious extra large tub, walk-in shower, and private deck with serene views of the backyard. The open kitchen connects seamlessly to the living area and a new sunken dining room, which boasts magnificent windows overlooking the gardens and Audubon lands.

Step outside and enjoy the expansive outdoor spaces, including a large screened-in porch, three decks, green lawns, and vibrant flower gardens. The property’s rich history and natural beauty make it a peaceful retreat.

Enjoy strong WiFi for streaming, though there is no TV in the home.
