The room was in good condition. Clean and average size. The bathroom was OK, but the design of it is a bit awkward, for example, there is no place to hang the hand towel. There was a balcony, but on it was a huge AC engine making noise and pulling warm air. No electric socket next to the bed to charge the phone. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. There was only one lift used for the entire hotel, which sometimes led to long waiting times (this is common in Tirana in general)

The Mulaj 'hotel' is actually about 40 rooms in an old apartment block which also has permanent residents and Airbnb rooms. It is not a traditional hotel with well trained and attentive staff offering a friendly service. To be fair the location was excellent.....everything worth a visit was in walking distance. Our 'apartment' room with balcony was clean enough but not particularly well equipped. The lighting was very bright with no side lights in the living room. Our 'neighbours' were at times very noisy and were more likely to be tenants and not 'hotel guests'......on our last night they were chatting and laughing all through the night and kept us awake.....we could not/dare not ask them to be quiet ! We had to ask more than once for the room to be 'serviced'. The inclusive breakfast was ok but pretty much the same every day. The 'hotel' offered no additional facilities. Some staff were helpful and friendly (mainly the young women on the front desk) but other staff were surly, unhelpful and indifferent. Nevertheless we enjoyed our 4 day stay as Tirana is a great location.

This is a perfect hotel in a perfect location at a reasonable price in the heart of this amazing city. The staff was extremely helpful with everything. No car needed as you can walk everywhere. You are right in the middle of everything in this location. I would return in a heartbeat.

Very nice spacious apartment with TV, good WiFi, microwave, water kettle, mini fridge, large bed plus fold out sofa bed, large bathroom with washer/dryer available. Convenient location to Blloku neighborhood, sightseeing, and dining. Attached bistro/cafe has fresh squeezed orange juice and a nice selection of wines and food. Staff is very friendly and helpful with planning and arranging early breakfast and taxi for an early morning flight home.
