Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The Byre is one of three barn conversion holiday cottages situated on a working farm just a few yards from the Pentland Firth. Immaculately presented throughout and with stunning views across the sea with the Orkney Isles clearly visible, The Byre provides a wonderful base for a memorable get away from it all holiday. The main living accommodation is open plan. The living area opens up through French windows to the garden beyond and affords the most incredible seascape views. The kitchen area is bright, modern and well-equipped and there is a modern dining table for four. Both the double bedrooms are attractively furnished and spacious. There is a modern bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and basin. The Byre is situated close to some of the most fantastic beaches in the UK. With miles of golden sand and massive sand dunes forming a backdrop, the nearby Dunnet beach is simply spectacular. Surfing, body boarding, sand buggying, swimming, horse riding and wild life watching are all local pastimes, yet this superb beach is never crowded.
The Byre can be booked together with The Barn (UK511324) and The Stable (CC511323) to accommodate up to 8 guests.
