A magical healing place to relax by the beautiful river, enjoy a picnic and BBQ during the day, kickback and stargaze at night. This quiet river Guest House is close to restaurants, shops, grocery store, art studios and only 15 min from the entrance of Sequoia National Park as well as Kaweah Lake. Activities available nearby: rent a boat, kayak, jet ski, fishing, hiking, river rafting, mountain biking, horseback riding.
The space

The 5 acre property offers plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the peaceful mountain and river views. Kaweah River runs through back side most of the year.

The house is very clean and ready for you to occupy. The spacious master bedroom has a queen size bed and a wood burning fireplace. The loft upstairs has 2 queen size beds, making it a great fit for couples, families, or a small group of friends.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes , pots and pans, stove , refrigerator, toaster, microwave, basic cooking spices, coffee, tea, and sugar will also be provided, everything you need for simple, home-cooked meals.

Step outside to enjoy the deck, outdoor seating, BBQ, and beautiful mountain and river views. Guests love spending their days hiking, fishing, kayaking, or exploring Sequoia, then coming back to the cottage to unwind, play board games, and stargaze at night.

You’re staying in mountains and wilderness. Wildlife such as mice, bats, snakes, bears, and insects is part of the environment.

We blow leaves and clean before each stay, but dust, pine needles and wildlife return quickly. This is part of the mountain environment.

Perfect for nature lovers — not suited for those seeking a fully city-like experience. This is a truly unique retreat, a dream. We think you'll find the setting truly special and magical.

Keep doors and windows closed (or only open screened windows) to avoid unwanted visitors.

You are responsible at all times for your children and other guests. Please be responsible and safe around water! All children must be accompanied by an adult in the backyard and around the riverbed area. Children can be easily swept up and taken down the river by the current.

PLUMBING: WATER AND SEPTIC:

This home is on a well and septic system:

LIABILITY: Guest accepts liability for any damages he or she caused to the property or the guest's guests, and for any items lost or stolen by guest or guest's guests. If damages are in excess of the security deposit being held, guest agrees to reimburse the owner for costs incurred to repair or replace damaged or missing items, along with added guest

HOLD HARMLESS: The owner does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to any persons or their personal property. Guest agrees to hold harmless the owner for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond their control.

THE RIVER: Guest agrees that they are aware that swimming/walking in the river can be dangerous at certain times of the year, and guest hereby holds harmless the owner of the above said property for any and all claims, demands and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the guest, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the usage of the river made available by this property for their use.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The guest, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, releases and discharges Owner of above said property from any and all claims, demands and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the guest, as a result of, or in connection with, the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold the Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors, or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.

There are outdoor security cameras for guest safety.

REFUNDS:

No refunds for events outside of owner’s control (power/wifi outages, park closures, weather). If roads to Three Rivers are officially closed, we can reschedule or refund.

I have another listing for my property which is for the main house. Please respect their space and not use the river access behind the main house. You do have your own river access behind the guest house.
