This was my first stay at the Wingate in Valdosta, and I really liked everything— the reasonable price, room with a couch, microwave, frig, and coffeemaker. The added happy hour and great breakfast were so appreciated as well. My dog and I will definitely be back!

Property is old and dirty. All the room doors need to replaced . The door to our first room was broken and wouldn’t open. Shower room had broken grout and ceiling was molded. Sofa was dirty and stained so we didn’t sit on it. Night staff was not pleasant or welcoming. Breakfast was good and our room was quiet.

My husband and I loved this economical hotel. We traveled with our small dog and the room was spacious and comfortable. Bed is so comfortable and the complimentary breakfast choices are good and tasty.

Hot tub was not working. They had no sign, it was not blocked off, so the water just kept getting dirtier and dirtier and people were getting in thinking it was normal. It started to smell on our final day there. When I checked in, I was told nothing about breakfast or reception. The room was insanely hard to find and nowhere near an elevator! We ended up leaving the evening before we were supposed to because home was just better. The hotel could also definitely use a facelift!

The facilities are clean, but a little worn. Parking was very tight and barely enough spaces. It is very conveniently located close to I75.
