My stay unfortunately was for a few days since my Dad was in the hospital but the staff was amazing with helping with my constant uncertainty if I needed another night. Our room Was amazing and comfortable even though we spent very little time there. My husband was able to eat breakfast one morning and we stopped one night for the evening reception and grabbed a quick drink. Everyone was friendly and they also serve dinner which is included. I have never stayed anywhere where they serve a dinner buffet. We didn’t have it but it looked good. One of the things that impressed me the most is the ice machine worked!! It sounds like a little thing but we just spent 15 days in hotels going up the coast of the US this fall and not one ice machine worked. It’s nice to be able to have it for your drinks, especially when you are on the go. We will definitely start looking for Drury in our travels in the future.

Disappointed with our stay

We were a little disappointed with our recent 1 night stay at Drury Inn, Valdosta. We always stay at Drury Inns on our annual road trip to Florida and have been happy with the experiences for a number of years. This visit was disappointing though. We booked a King suite 9 months ago but when we arrived we were told it wasn’t available were offered a Queen suite instead. We said no problem but what we didn’t know until we reached the room was that the Queen suite had no kitchenette, hence no fridge or microwave oven, both of which we needed. In addition the bathroom was not clean, there was long hair on the shower walls. I will say that this experience was not the norm for our many stays at Drury Inns but important to note that there is room for improvement here.
