Stay in a restored farmhouse with a large entertaining space with fully equipped kitchen, pool table, games, dvds, Wi-Fi, campfire pit, and even a hot tub. Drive your Atv, or snowmobile or Bike from the door to the trail. Room for trailers to park. Hike or ride the valley trails to the beaver pond, or waterfalls , look outs and creeks, a short drive to the ski hill, golf, outdoor drive in, murals or shops and restaurants and ale houses, Atlantic balloon festival or august flea market in Sussex. Come back to the Roost, and enjoy the fantastic views or sunsets, a campfire, stargaze in our big sky, and wake up with the birds! We are pet friendly and have artisan and collectibles shops and a library on site !

Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Please ensure all dishes are washed and in the drying rack. All used towels are moved to the laundry bin, and all garbage is I. The correct waste container on the main floor .
Any reimbursable cans and bottles that are left , will be redeemed and moneys donated to the local cat rescue
If you had pets, all waste should be picked up and in the waste container right before leaving.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The check-in was very smooth and thoughtful! Our hosts told us of a few places to eat in Sussex on our way in, and offered to help with laundry as we had been traveling for several days at that time. The kitchen was fully stocked, we didn't need a thing! The bedrooms were very comfortable, and we needed two bathrooms which was hard to find for a bigger family. The home even had a piano which my oldest daughter played a lot. We enjoyed the pool table and hot tub in the evenings. The area was very quiet and remote, if that is what you are seeking. I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings watching all kinds of birds fly about. Marie was very helpful, and always a text away for directions, restaurants, and local activities. I would definitely recommend this unique and cozy place to stay if you are wanting to explore NB--we loved Fundy National Park and spent a day on Prince Edward Island.

Good spot for groups, especially with teens!

We rented this place to do some skiing at Poley mountain. Two families with young teens, there was lots of space for everyone and the pool table kept the kids busy all weekend. The hot tub was great after a day of skiing and outdoor activities. The host Marie is the nicest person in the world. Highly recommend, looking forward to booking this again.

Definitely way out in beautiful countryside. having a well stocked home all to ourselves was awesome with all bedrooms upstairs. Enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch.

Golf weekend

Great stay. Hosts were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay great. Let my dog out while we were golfing and even provided the ingredients for s’mores at the campfire when we had forgotten ours.
