A very nice Inn that is quiet and secluded with a great view and staff. The restaurant's meals were very good. Loved the breakfast and the lady who made sure you were welcomed and served. Nice hiking right outside the door and a dock to swim from. It's off the beaten path and incredibly pleasant.

Wolfgangsee Delight!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this historic, lakefront hotel! The rooms with balconies facing Wolfgangsee are charmingly appointed, and comfortable! It was so easy to take the lift downstairs to dine st the water. We had drinks and a delicious meal watching the sunset on the water. The breakfast buffet was also wonderful! Wolfgangsee is near many lovely tourist destinations; we will return

Amazing location nestled in its own little bay. Beautiful view across the lake, and a short ferry hop to other towns. Wonderful breakfasts and lovely dinner. Good hospitality all round.

Wonderful

Gorgeous hotel, lovely staff - a bit disappointing that the restaurant was closed but they let me know a few days in advance and I had a picnic. Standard WiFi was terrible but they upgraded it for free. Amazing location - truly amazing place. Loved it and would go again - just not for business.

Great area but maybe not ideal for business travel

The area is beautiful (if a little sketchy to drive down to), rooms were clean and typical enough for the area. I was there on business and it is maybe not suited for this, breakfast started from 7:30 which is a bit late for me, other hotels were fine with me coming earlier and having some cereal or coffee but at check in I was told it's not possible. Day before I was due to leave I was told that actually it should be fine for me to come early and have something simple and a coffee which is nice but a little late in the stay at that point. The restaurant quality is only ok in my opinion especially for the price you are paying compared to cheaper establishments in the area, as a plus the service was friendly and good. if staying for leisure I'm sure my experience would have been more positive.

Excellent in every way

We spent 3 nights here and were sorry to leave. Every person on staff is wonderful. The location is perfect - tranquil and convenient. The views and amenities are amazing. Food is delicious.
