Usually we stay at the Holiday Inn when in Terre Haute but they were booked up. So we stayed at the La Quinta for our first time. This was a trip for our little kids for spring break so they could enjoy the pool. However the room was dirty and when we first got into our room the bathroom smelt like sewage and the exhaust fan for the bathroom did not work. We ended up using perfume to help with the smell it was so gross. The breakfast was good then next morning. However after we checked out at 10am and headed home I got a notification from my bank that they tried charging my card $200 on top of the $50 deposit we already paid. Then tried charging $100. No information given from hotel why we would have these sort of charges. We definitely will not be back!

Most comfortable bed ever

Easy check in. Very nice room with the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. Quiet. Spacious. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful. Everywhere was clean.

This hotel has exceptional service. Front person went out of his way to help. Also the pet fee is clearly stated On the site and is very reasonable not a money grab like other hotels One thing I would get though are new sheets they were very worn and Bally. Otherwise it was a clean and nice room.

Bad morning service

We got in late and the room smelled funny. The receptionist offered to move us but we chose not to being it's late. The next morning the new receptionist was rude and didn't care about the room or any request.
