We loved our stay in Las Catalinas! We stayed in a beautiful three-level, two-bedroom home with incredible views—sunsets from the balcony were unforgettable. The town itself is incredibly charming and totally walkable. Everything is thoughtfully designed, and it feels both upscale and relaxed. The only thing missing was a great boulangerie—while there is one in town, it was often nearly empty. A full boulangerie with more variety would be the perfect addition to this otherwise fantastic community.

I would like to file a complaint regarding my recent stay booked through Expedia. At no point during the booking process was it mentioned that there would be an additional charge to use the beach club. I was surprised upon arrival to find that this extra fee was required, which I consider a serious omission of important information by your platform. Furthermore, the service provided by the staff responsible for the beach club was extremely disappointing. I was treated with a lack of courtesy and professionalism, which is completely inconsistent with the expectations of a pleasant stay. I kindly request that this situation be investigated and that appropriate actions be taken. I would also like a formal response regarding the lack of transparency about the extra charges, as well as an apology and possible compensation for the inconvenience caused.

Despite being a very nice project and condo , the condo itself was very poorly equipped in terms of plates , silverware etc. The tv in the main room wasn’t 2 hours after I checked out I got a text saying there were 2 towels missing and had to pay $80 My reply was that it’s too bad this is brought up after I left and that when I checked in a count of the towels in the place wasn’t made in front of me They kept texting over the weekend asking for payment for $80 after I spent thousands in my stay I paid the towels under protest and most likely won’t return to this place

We loved this property location. It is VERY safe and convenient for a relaxing vacation. We traveled with another couple, who booked a different room on the property and had included the beach club ($30/person) and daily maid service, for the same price. We did not realize that was an option when booking so would suggest reaching out about that.

The view from my room was beautiful! The room was perfect for a couple. I would give it a five stars rating if the bathroom didn’t smell like mold. I told the front desk; they said they would look into it; but nothing was done. In addition, the TV didn’t work on the third day that we were there. They could not fix it 😕 The construction noise started from 07am to 10 pm. There was only one road to get in and out of town. It was very very bumpy! Food was expensive at Las Catalinas and Tamarindo. But people were very kind and super friendly.

The location was beautiful and had its own little restaurants, spa and groceries, but all were pretty expensive.

El lugar es muy bonito en sus alrededores, sentimos que la habitación no está adecuadamente equipada para cocinar (a los sartenes se les pega la comida, no hay escurridor de platos, solo hay un limpión para secar platos para toda la estadia). Algunas veces para lograr que se nos atendiera de forma adecuada al whatsapp de las catalinas teniamos que enviar varios mensajes a diferentes momentos para que se ejecutara la petición. En general, fue una buena experiencia, solo esos dos detalles que cambiaria
