Ocean view villa right above beautiful and serene Playa Prieta. Spectacular sunsets from the terrace and within earshot of the surf. Newly renovated vanishing edge pool with covered swim up bar and BBQ area. Close to restaurants and activities. Several beaches to choose from within minutes of the property as well as proximity to Mountain bike trails, Stand up paddle board rentals, Surfing and body boarding and Off Shore / Deep sea fishing. On site gardener and once per week maid service included. Plenty of room to spread out over two floors plus a third floor loft. The newly renovated kitchen is completely equipped and features a gas cook top for gourmet cooking as well as wall oven and microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Living area opens to both a covered and uncovered terrace for basking in the sun or enjoying the ocean breezes in the shade. Master bedroom and upstairs guest bedroom on second floor feature walk out ocean view balconies. There is also a loft with bed on a third level with amazing 360 degree views.
The house is one of two Villas sharing the property with mature gardens featuring mango and lime trees. The property is very private yet close to the beach. The vanishing edge pool and terrace create an amazing foreground to the pacific ocean sunsets from this property. Playa Prieta is about a 10 minute walk and there are three other beaches within minutes by car.

Beautiful House in a Perfect Location

This was a perfect vacation house for my friends and me. There are many great restaurants, coffee bars and beaches in the area, without all the seediness that comes with heavily commercial areas like Tamarindo. On our slow days we spent many hours in the infinity pool soaking up the sun and catching up. Any of the minor inconveniences are easily overlooked. The wi-fi was spotty for a few hours during our week long trip, but I believe it was due to the public utility and not the house. One of the A/C units needed servicing but our attentive host sent someone over in less than 12 hours to get it fully operational. The host's communication was impeccable - they even supplied us with COVID testing information that got us out of a pickle. The gardener and house manager are friendly and professional. Be aware that one of the twin-bed rooms is accessible through a rather steep stairs up a "tower," but the view is very rewarding - just don't be too inebriated when making the trip. I would recommend Flamingo Adventures ATV tours sometime early during your stay as that is also a good intro to beaches in the area. We also took advantage of their other adventures such as ziplining and jetskis. La Pizzetteria Da Oreste has fantastic brick oven pizza and a great owner. Just a few doors down at Carpe Diem is a solid breakfast/coffee shop with great sandwiches. Hemingway's attracts more tourists but is also right on the beach. Playa Prieta and Penca are clean and beautiful. I'd like to wish a big "thank you" to our hosts. We had a truly memorable stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to my friends and family.

Wonderful accomodations!

Great location ..although the directions to initially get to the house could be improved as arriving at night we could not see the access road behind the first house to the left. House itself was impeccably clean with all amenities and beach items as described . The only drawback was that I probably had not read the description correctly as I had not realized that it was a Duplex.. two houses sharing a common pool area. Would recommend this vacation home.
