Beautiful one-bedroom apartment on the first floor of a newly restored manor house in a prime riverside location in the historical center of Tavira. The apartment has fantastic views of the fishing boats on the river and of the old town. Free WiFi.

During the summer months, the ferryboat to the beach at Ilha de Tavira leaves from the quayside in Tavira town, around 100m from the apartment. At other times of the year, the boat leaves from Quatro Aguas which is around 1km further along the river. There are several other blue flag beaches and golf courses within a few minutes drive.

The apartment is extremely conveniently located for both the beach and the town. The riverfront restaurants are close at hand and the Old Market and Roman Bridge are only a couple of minutes walk away. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets of this lovely old town with its many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy a refreshment in the sun.

This beautiful manor house dates from the early 19th century and has been tastefully renovated to high specifications, using natural materials and retaining historical features - such as the traditional Tavira roofs and windows with interior wooden shutters, as well as thick walls which keep the property warm in winter and cool in summer.

The apartment is the perfect place to sit and watch the activity on the quayside and is furnished to a high standard with a combination of antique and contemporary furniture. It is an excellent base for either a summer or winter break.
