Not very good out of season.

We arrived at the house and Massimo showed us the apartment that we were to stay in. At first it looked big enough but after a day we realised that it only had a bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a kitchen leading out onto a yard that had table and chairs, washing machine and a shower area. We realised we had no windows, only the light coming in from the glass windows on the doors. Apart from that the fixtures and fittings were ok. What we didn't know and did not find out until we arrived was that the area of Mancaversa only comes to life from June 1st to Sept31st. Apart from those 4 months the place is mothballed with only a handful of residents, with NO internet . The rocky beach area is totally covered in broken glass and millions of ants. We had to travel in our car every day to surrounding towns and cities to be able to walk our dog. Massimo is a very good guy but the place was just not suitable for the 4 weeks we booked their.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Wir waren fast 3 Wochen in Mancaversa. Massimo ist sehr zuvorkommend und es war alles bestens. Zu unserer Zeit war Mancaversa fast ausgestorben aber genau das wollten wir um richtig zu relaxen. Der Strand ist zwar alles felsig, aber wir fanden eine kleine Bucht mit Sandstrand wo die wenigen Einheimischen auch waren und wir haben diese Zeit mit Ihnen sehr genossen. Auch die Strände von Gallipoli sind nicht weit entfernt ( ca. 8 Km ). Wir werden sicher wieder kommen Massimo. Danke für alles wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut erholt. l'appartement correspondait à la description il était très propre,mais le propriétaire ayant eu un problème avec son travail il n'était pas tout à fait prêt et nous avons dû attendre un certain temps....mais le matin tout était réparé ,le propriétaire était très chaleureux et attentif à nos désirs .nous avons été surprises par l'absence d'une salle de séjour ,nous n'avions pas pensé à demander sa présence,et par le fait que en Italie la "saison ne commence que le 1er juin donc la petite station balnéaire était privée des commerces nécessaires et un peu tristounette ,mais cela n'enlève rien à la qualité de la location correcte et conforme à l'annonce hormis la photo qui montre une plage de sable alors que la mer à 200m est bordée par un littoral rocheux
