Very pretty, cottage/chalet-style rooms with nearby gated parking, immaculate condition, beautiful beach area with kayaks & paddle boards. Staff are super-friendly! Only downside is the sandflies, the no-see-ums were brutal – even in November! Each cottage has its own supply outside the door, but bring as many insect repellants as you can, and itch relief. Besides that, ask for the gate code in advance as you need to get your car inside to check-in at the office.
Safe, gated parking was appreciated for my Maserati

Loved everything about our stay. Such a cute little resort. Nice and quiet. Beautiful landscaping. Plenty of outdoor beach seating. We had a standard room which was still roomy and perfect for us and decorated nice. We both slept great every night. We did have a small leak under the bathroom sink and it was taken care of right away. Check in was easy and the manager was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

The management team is very personable and pays attention to detail. The property is immaculate. Ocean front with great views! We enjoyed Harriet's breakfast nearby and a speakeasy called the armory. We were on our honeymoon and the staff made sure we enjoyed every moment! Laundry machines on site and quality coffee. Love this resort, we will return.

First time at Island Bay Resort and it won’t be our last! Only ten, individual cottages, all adorable! Our room was closest to the water, so cute and spotless! The grounds were meticulous! Tropical and beautifully lit at night. My husband caught fish off the dock and we enjoyed relaxing on their beach, which was raked daily with chairs and umbrellas provided. They also provide kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel equipment. If you’re looking for a place to stay for your next get-a-way in the Florida Keys, I highly recommend you book here! You won’t regret it!
